The City of Bloomington is in charge of the rink concessions.

Parents or kids (min age 16) looking for Part-time work can apply for concessions/special event staff (Ice Garden Attendant). 

This is a flexible PT opportunity with wages currently ranging from $11.50-$12.50/hr.  You would be an employee of the City of Bloomington and receive a check every two weeks for the hours worked. 

During the hockey season (September – February) BIG plans to have concessions open at a minimum from 4-9 pm Monday – Friday and 8 am-8 pm on Saturday and 8 am-7 pm Sundays. Tournament weekends and special events hours may be extended based on the actual ice rentals. Shift length and the number of shifts scheduled each week or month are flexible based on the needs of individuals and what is going on at BIG.
