Mite Summer Training Program

Instilling a PASSION for the Game of Hockey!

Fortis Academy coaches will design and implement this program. Every practice will consist of fun games and skating work. Our goal is to help kids continue to grow their love for hockey, the foundation for successful long-term athletic development. 

 

Who: All skaters from Jefferson and Kennedy who are Mite age during the 2018-2019 season

Introducing the Bloomington Spring Learn to Play Program

 

Where: Bloomington Ice Gardens

Dates: 

April 3 –4:00-5:00 pm  -  Ridgeview, Indian Mounds, Valley View Elementary

April 10 – 4:00-5:30 - Hillcrest, Washburn, Nativity of Mary

April 17 – 4:00-5:00 pm  - Poplar Bridge, Olson Elementary, and Oak Grove Elementary

April 24 – 4:00-5:00 pm - Normandale Hills, Westwood, and Ramalynn Montessori Academy

 

Who: Anyone in Bloomington who wants to try hockey as well as currently registered players who are 5 or 6 years old! Registered players should help recruit some buddies to try hockey, as well as show off their hockey skills.

 

The Bloomington Learn to Play is a free program for 4-8 year olds in Bloomington who would like to try hockey. Players will be transported from their respective elementary schools (we are working on logistics right now) to the Bloomington Ice Gardens where plenty of certified USA Hockey coaches and volunteers will help get players equipped and ready to skate. Players will be picked up by their parents following the skate. More information to come!
