Pee Wee C Wins Schwan Cup Tournament Over The New Year’s Weekend
With a show of power, Jefferson Pee Wee C stormed into the Schwan Cup Tournament with a strong 12 - 1 first game win. They then won their next three games 8 - 3, 5 - 2, and 8 – 1, showing the power of great team work and skillful coaching.
In the fifth and final, Championship, game of the tournament, Jefferson Pee Wee C had its toughest game; a rematch against the White Bear Orange team, defeated earlier 8 - 3. The White Bear team came into the final game very motivated to hand Jefferson Pee Wee C it first defeat of the tournament, and take the Schwan Cup Championship. It was a close game and hard fought battle with White Bear coming from behind and tying the score in the last few minutes of third period play. The Jefferson Pee Wee C team kept its composure and continued to play with the same strong team work that got them to the Championship Game. With only five seconds left on the clock, Jefferson stuffed the puck in the White Bear net, and went on to win the Championship game 4 – 3, bring home Tournament Championship hardware for a second time this season.
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the coaching staff: Todd Goedderz, Daryn Krumm and Kyle Swenson and the hard work of team mates: Erik Beckers, Dylan Burns, Nick Goedderz, Will Harris, Keegan Jackish, Charlie Jamieson, Austin Krumm, Ben Krumm, Doug McClain IV, Gabe Pilla, Jarrid Pizel, Evan Redepenning, Haakon Svendsen and Nate Schmidt, the Pee Wee C team has had a very successful season thus far.
The Bantam B2's took home the championship trophy for the Bloomington Winter Classic tournament this weekend. They played Stillwater and beat EP in a shootout to get into the championship round where they beat Buffalo 2-0.

The Breezy Point Ice Fest December 9-11 earned the Jefferson Squirt B White Team a 2nd place trophy after a shootout finish of the Championship game against Becker/Big Lake. The tournament opening game against Centennial was won by Jefferson with a goal scored in the last minute for a 4-3 victory. Saturday’s game against Orono was close the first two periods but the Jaguars finished strong with five goals in the third period to win 9 to 4. Playing together as a team both on and off the ice made this a great weekend!
After a 10 – 0 win over of the Minneapolis Storm Orange Team, Jefferson advanced to play the Eden Prairie Pee Wee Cs. It was a tough battle with EP, but after falling behind, Jefferson Pee Wee Cs scored three straight goals to beat EP 6 to 5. The final game was against the Edina White Pee Wee Cs. Edina scored first, but Jefferson came back handily and delivered Edina a 5 to 1 defeat, crowning Jefferson Pee Wee Cs the 37th Minneapolis Cup Pee Wee C Bracket Winners
